Default Car shakes n leaks tranny fluid after tranny swap

i just swapped out my V4d trans for a b16 lsd trans and ran into a couple problems after it was all sed and done. After we bolted evreything up, i took it around the block and when i hit the gas rite around 3500 the car starts shaking like crazy...i checked all the motor mounts its not that...its not the steering wheel thats just vibrating, i mean it feels like im driving through an earthquake or somethin. Also when i pulled back in the driveway i noticed tranny fluid leaking out of the differential above the shift linkage. I noticed a metal ring type thing sitting about an inch from the diff on the axle, is this a seal or somethin?? someone told me it should be all the way in the diff, i havnt touched the car in hope for the right information to fix it b4 i mess somethin up real bad...please help pleaaaaseeeee

Did you get the Clutch, Pressure Plate, and Flywheel all new? It kind of sounds like the Flywheel is warped. Or not balanced correctly.

no i left the clutch/flywheel/pressure plate all bolted up and just swapped the trans..it didnt have that problem with the old trans even tho it grinded like hell. So i'll take the axle out and put the seal in..im not too sure how to do that so some advise would be greatly appreciated...thanks
