Yeah i got 2 questions
1) I am planning on taking my car to the track next week i have a JDM ITR swap into my EG Hatch and i was wondering what i should rev i should shift at ive heard of people taking it to 9K but when i take it to that it feels as if its not making any power past 8.5K. So instead of wasting a day and money for the track figuing out what i should shift at can you guys help me
thanks
2)How do i tell if i have a 98+ spec engine? Without checking my cams

Well your rev limit on a stock motor will prevent you from going past 8500 so that's your # 1 answered. And there is no need to either, as power starts to drop off beyond 8k anyways.
