So instead of wasting a day and money for the track figuing out what i should shift at can you guys help me thanks

2)How do i tell if i have a 98+ spec engine? Without checking my cams

Well your rev limit on a stock motor will prevent you from going past 8500 so that's your # 1 answered. And there is no need to either, as power starts to drop off beyond 8k anyways.
