Default Do you Regret not getting LSD?

Do you Regret not getting LSD? I was told by many people that when I got my B16a swap to get LSD. Well HMotorsOnline was out of them, and on backorder, so I had to stick with a cable tranny? I personally am fine with my tranny, I love tripping tires into 3rd gear!!!

Yeah including me..
Maybe because most people that love LSD, got it. So then they wouldn't regret NOT getting it.

Once Full Race comes into the picture here this winter, I am sure I will regret not having LSD then. I'll buy it when I have to. But until then, nope, no regrets.

i like my lsd.. but damn - it's WAY over-rated.. i would say it saves cv's more than anything..

i've had a quaif and a jdm h22a lsd and i dont know what the fuss is all about. i guess when you dont have one you really want one? it wont make or break a 1/4 mile time - thats for sure..

Big time!! I auto cross my car (91crx w\gsr) and notice that I must let off the gas during corners even with partial throttle.

I drove my cousins 92 hatch with jdm itr w\ lsd and quickly realized that paired with the shorter gearing and lsd I can go a couple km faster and hold the accelerator down longer during cornering and the slalom.

I totally regret not buying a lsd equipped tranny for this reason. But also I know everyone does not have the same needs as me though.

A stock b16 in an EF would lose against the very same stock b16 with LSD.

Tripping tires is like burning out when you shift (the tires squeak)

I like my LSD, only regret about getting mine is that I got 2 bad tranny's when I purchased my swap because the LSDs tend to be beat on more then the non-lsd tranny's. People that pay for the LSD know what they're doing and why they're buying it I guess. Now I'm currently running a Y1 with a screwed up 3rd gear, but lsd is crazy when you're launching.

that cost a lot for the LSD, let alone to put it in. I would sell the tranny and buy one with it already in it

I regret not getting one initially. I started with a open diff LS tranny and switched later on to a y1 w/ LSD.
I was very impressed. Between the traction bar and LSD, it hooks up and accelerates so much faster.
