Default TO Type Rs

With the snow not even staying on the ground in TO for more than2 days, I'm thinking of taking off my winters and putting my summers back on. Just wondering how many TO guys have been sick of waiting for the snow and slapped their regular tires back on? The weathers messed up!

Thanks,

I would leave the snows on. I'd say another month more.
That is why I chose Pilot Alpins because of the performance capabilities on and off snow.

REO10s handle like crap even a few degrees above freezing. Mine's staying jacked up for another month, and then out in its full glory

I agree RE10's suck even in 40 degrees weather.

It needs to be at least 50 for them to grab.

Are you asking to be put on the Toronto TypeR mailing list? If so let me know.

Oh and just so you know, our summer pictures usually have 20 or more TypeRs in them

As BabyNSX said, contact him to join the ITR mailing list. He'll keep you updated on meets and track days. I'm just a member not an organizer.

Glad I asked, i'll guess put them on at the beginning of March or near the end of this month. I heard this week is suppose to be ~ 5-6 C. I really wanted to put them on today!

Ain't that the truth. When it started getting cold in November I slipped around a corner more than I'd like, figure the RE010 have met their match and changed to Nokian NRW for the colder months.

They have softer sidewalls, the ride is softer for my rear (feels like a touring tire) but they have superior grip in wet cold condition like I've never felt before!

Just out of curiousity, for you guys that have responded, how many of you store your R during the winter? I use mine all year round. Unfortunately I don't have a winter beater.
