New axles installed, now feel vibrations under loads
I installed new axles from Napa and now i have vibration when i drive. Its only under loads (ie take offs, and heavy accleration). My brother seems to think that the axles are just a little bit to long through his passed experince. I just wanted to know what you guys thought.
are your axles new or rebuilt? I bought a brand new axle for my drivers side and at first i didn't have vibration and now i do from like 15 to 30mph during acceleration. I guess there is a warranty from napa and when i get around to it i'm going to take it off and bring at back and get a replacement. I just didn't want to shell out the 300 plus for one from honda. Let me know what happens
Had many customers who've had problems with NAPA axels. they can replace the bearings but that does'nt mean the axel is true.

most of the axles, carried by autozone, napa, advance, ol'reilys, parts america.. they are all remanufactored and by the same company, hell aeven if you goto honda, they will sell you a remaned axle. Working around a shop enviroment has led me to believe 6 out of 10 axles remaned, don't seem to be balanced, or not in a true line. We replace many axles a month on honda's, we always use the same brand (since everyone has it) and its always a trail and error, 6 out of every 10 have that vibration.. just get some different ones, or find someone to sell u a good OEM one.. but try another remaned set, some to come out ok

Just go to http://www.driveshaftshop.com/HONDAPAGE.ivnu and order some level ones. It'll just be a lil more expencive!
Thanks for all your input guys. I thinking its bad axles i'm just gonna take them off and get Napa to order new ones and then try those.
Ive been through about 5 axles already from nappa. Gotta love the lifetime warranty. I had them break. I went through about 2 sets bc i thought the axles were bad bc they were binding. It ended up being a broken rear motor mount causing them to bind up. Check your front and rear motor mount bc that could be causing them to bind up.

I've had the same problem on my old 91 integra.... kept getting rebuilt axles cheap from a local autoparts store.
Might I suggest

This sux, I have this exact same problem and I just replaced my axles because my old ones were worn and had a rip in the CV boot...
I bought NEW axles of the web, but I get this vibration under load/acceleration, especially when I am on the highway doing ~65mph.
Does this mean the axles are bad and I have to buy new ones again?! Or is there a break in period for new axles?
If I have to buy new ones does anyone know where I can get good ones? Can anyone else vouch for the link posted in this thread: http://www.driveshaftshop.com/HONDAPAGE.ivnu ?
I'm really pissed off that I tried to spend the extra money to get something new and still have problems!
Thank you for your help!

How long do you think I can drive on them? It may take a few days to get axles and in the mean time I have to commute 80 miles a day to school three days a week.
