As much as I would love to get a JDM front end on my car...I can't help but to wonder how many of you guys actually paid for your front ends with your own hard-earned cash . I dont want to be a d*ck, but it seems that many (of course not all) JDM front end guys used their insurance to some degree, from some accident or got the car that way from a previous owner. Call me bitter, but everything on my car I've paid for myself, in a legitimate manner, I just want to know if anyone can share my point of view.

I'd like to hear some stories of how you guys came across your JDM front ends...

 

I bought my JDM front (I had to piece it together though). How'd I get the money? Well, I sold off my old parts from my car. It's kind of funny though, I acquired all the JDM front parts, THEN I got into an accident, haha...

bought my HID front end for 1600 cdn all pieces included and installed her myself, and tried to get some $$ back by selling the 98+ front end, so in the end i payed 1000 cdn

I'm sure there's more than 2 guys with JDM front ends who have read this thread....

 

I bought my front end for 1800 with my hard earned money. It took me about a year to come up with it. Its funny when i look back. When i used to have a stock front end and see the jdm front dc2s online, i would get so frustrated. HOW DID THEY COME UP WITH ALL THAT MONEY!!! It's just patience....work, save your money and you can do it. You dont have to be rich. Heres a pic of her, and shes for sale...check sig.

I bought my JDM frontend with hard earned cash. I'm from Va., but in San Diego on business. The only reason I came out here was to get my front end (along with some other JDM crap) and of course to golf. I just want to thank Steve at HMOTORS for the parts. I don't know if its just me, but prices are much cheaper on the west coast.

 

im looking to swap front ends. how hard is it to install by yourself?

jdm fronts are nice and of course its on my list .. but good to see people working hard for them ...

crash isnt so bad since they need a front end y not add the extra cash and upgrade right ...
