please help me thanks everyone out there

i got a 95 gsr but the problem is the check light is on when i start the car it goes to 1500 grand on the rev limiter then drops to 800 when it warms up also black smoke comes out so please tell me how to fix the problem thanks everyone out there

go to autzone or a nearby shop and ask them to pull the code ur car is sending out this should tell u pretty much what the problem is..autozone pulls the codes for free
