Lmao I bought an 88 CRX but not sure what model si dx or hf how can I figure it out please let me know anybody

look at engine label located on a flat spot to the left of the exh. manifold which eng. do you have?

your vin# also tells which model you have

 

The VIN will narrow it down:

If the intake looks like this it is a DX:

 

Cool deal I will go check it right away the pics look like what I have though.
what model is better dx or hf? I have a few questions like 1. What model can I get Power window and door locks from and does anybody know of a website where all this stuff is accesible? 2. Can I just swap doors from thhat model to make installation pretty much hassel free? 3. Any body have a name of a web site that will have just about anything I need to get for this car? 4. How big of an engine can I put in.

 

sorry only USDM crx never got power anything....but as far as the engine..i seen h22, K20 in it...so u can fit almost anything u like in there...

 

I have been saying it for a long time, but a guide to "FINDING WHICH MODEL CRX YOU HAVE" should be stickied to the top. I know it's in FAQ, but it's easily the most asked question.

it all comes down to how much u wanna spend. its expensive no matter what

 

Well iuf it has a sunroof it is an si. If there is no wiper on the hatch window it is an hf. And if it is a dx it will be dual point fuel injection.
