The sun roof glass is broken on my 94 Accord EX Coupe. I have access to a complete sun roof assembly. Would it be easier to relpace the entire assembly or to replace the glass only? If anyone out there has successfuly attacked this project please respond.

 

Just replacing the glass is much easier than replacing the whole assembly. Just open the sunroof just to take the pressure off of it and there are 2 black covers on each side of the sunroof {inside the car} Behind these are 2 bolts on each side I believe. Just remove the nuts and the glass should come right out. Just be sure not to loose any of the shims that are between the glass and mounts so that you can adjust the sunroof when you get the new one in. IMO......the glass is the way to go VS. the assembly
