225/50/13 Hoosiers fit for auto-x on 89 CRX?? Too big??
I recently bought a set of Diamond Racing 13x8 wheels already equipped with a fairly new set of 225/50/13 Hoosier A3SO4's. The wheels/tires had previously been used on a miata. My 89si is lowered about 2 inches and I'm wondering if these tires are going to be too large for auto-x under hard cornering. From what I've seen most everyone runs 225/45/13's which would be about 1" smaller in diameter. I put on the wheels and there isnt any noticeable problem with regard to clearance, but I haven't tried anything that would be hard on the suspension.
I've got an auto-x coming up Sunday (danville VA) and I wanted to see if anyone had tried this size tire in auto-x before. This will be the first time I've run anything other than 195/50/15 street tires. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm running them and they work great for me. No rubbing w/ 400lb front and 450lb rear springs and 1 1/2 lowered.
Edit: mine are mounted on 13x7 Keisers... don't know the offset for sure.

Make sure the center holes fit your hubs, if they're hub-centered for Miata they'll need to be bored out a little to fit the CRX.
