Default Do you need this bracket?

Do you need this bracket for anything? I don't have one on my tranny and I want to know if I need to order one. (Part #1)

Thanks

Oh, this is also an s80 tranny on a B18c.

That picture is a hydro tranny, but the part you are pointing out is for a ground wire.

It's listed as "Hanger B, trans." Perhaps also a ground. Do you really need it to ground though?

i would assume you use that to lift the engine/tranny out of the car with a hoist...so keep it...

In the manual it does say to attack the engine hoist to that.

I thought it was a secondary tow hook.

It's just a bracket. Keep it

Unless it's getting in the way of something but usually it doesn't. It doesn't even weigh anything... just keep it
