VAFC P28 help
Ok so I have a '96 Civic EX I just purchused a Boomslang obd2a to obd1 with vafc plug, a VAFC and a P28 ecu. Well when I hook all this up my car starts fine and seems to run fine until I hit 3500rpm it's like a fuel cut off and I can't go past it in any gear. So I reset all the VAFC setting and then set he Type of Car and Sensor type setting to my car that should give me just the stock settings I assume and my car still does the same thing. Well I can't fiqure out if it's the VAFC that is either busted or jsut not set right or if the ECU is bad. And I can't unplug the VAFC cause the car won't start since the vafc hook up interfears with the wires so when it's unpluged it's like the entire ecu is unpluged. Does anyone know what this could be? or have any advice?
I'm seriously hoping it's not the damn ecu cause that will suck. Im going to by pass the vafc by conencting the 2 vtec and 2 map sensor wires together on the harness. And see what happens.
