I was looking at a online Helms for the 92-95 civic, but could find nothing on the cruise control, maybe it was missing,, dunno.

Anyway, removing the CC components is easy enough, but I want to remove the wiring and switches too. Does this CC have a computer I should look for?

I imagine that the unit wiring runs into the main harness and then connects to the big connectors on the drivers side before heading into the cabin. Do these wires go directly to the switches or what?

Any wiring diagrams and pics of wiring locations would be much appreciated.

 

Ok, got the actuator and cable out all in one peice along with the on\off switch. Now I just need to get the steering wheel switches out and try and pull all the wiring\plugs.

Still could use any diagrams or pics if anyone has them for the wiring.

Well got the control box out along with the set\resume switches. Looks like the CC brake switch is the same switch as the brake light switch so that will stay.

The CC clutch switch must be the lower switch on the pedal assembly as it is depressed when the pedal is out, so I will remove that one.

After that all thats left is the wiring, this I am NOT looking forward too.

CC cable
CC unit = harness plug
CC control box + harness plug
On\Off switch + harness plug
CC clutch switch + harness plug
CC Set\resume switch

That should be most of the system.
