Need Help! Did I buy the wrong bearings?
Tried searching but haven't been able to the find the answer I am looking for.
I puchased a OBX LSD for my YS1 jdm cable transmission and installed some brand new 2001 integra type r ball type carrier bearings for it (part#91005-P80-E31 ) (80mm*40mm*19.5). It seems that I purchased the wrong bearings due to the fact that the transmission housing does not close and differential does not sit to the proper height. I had the bearings pressed down. So I know the bearings are properly seat. My question is did I buy the wrong bearings if so which bearings would I need for my particular setup. All replies will be appreciated.

I have the same problem. Took it to a transmission shop and turns out that the bearings we have are too high. 1.5mm too high on each bearing. So you end up with a 3mm gap, if you try to tighten it the casing WILL crack. This is what happened to me. I am still currently trying to figure out which bearing I need. So far, 91005-P80-003 is from a GS-R and it measures 40X80X17. I think this one might work. Also the 00 Civic Si's are 40x80x18.
