'91 CRX front wheel removal
Hi. I'm trying to replace a broken front wheel stud for the lug nut. I attempted taking off the center axle nut. But it's on tighter than I ever remember a center nut ever being on. Just won't come off. Don't seem right. This is first time I'm trying to take off the Honda wheel on this CRX. I was then advised not to take the axle nut off. So I won't. Then noticed a couple screws inside the outer face of the wheel. Would taking these 2 screws off enable me to lift out the center of the wheel leaving the outer half in place? Any suggestions? Jeez, American cars were so much easier to work on years ago.

Even with the brake rotor off you won't be able to get the wheel studs out. Most people will tell you to pull the hub off, pound out the broken wheel stud then pull the new stud in.
