Default Carbs for CRX

I'm looking for 2 Automotive type 45mm w/30mm choke's and a intake for the carbs, for a 89 1.5 16v motor. I have MPFI now. I'm racing in SCCA GTL in the Southeast SARRC now.

Thanks for any help.

...Or are you just telling you're going to get them.

Just go for MPFI, easier to adjust and use.

I was also a little unclear on what you were looking for...
I might have a set sohc zc dual sidedraft carbs for sale.
The manifold will bolt onto 88-91 heads.

PM if interested.

Yes i'm looking for carbs & intake. If you look in the Aug. 05 Sport Compact Car Mag. on page 114 you will see the carb set up I'm looking for.

Or if some thinks that MPFI will work better look at the set up on page 112.

This is the class that I run in now.

Those carbs in the pick look like prelude 1.8 dual sidedraft keihin carbs.
they'd be pretty easy to modify to the d series intake. or make your own. Not the best carb though buy some mikuni's and make your intake.

A popular carb setup with the 84-87 crowd is to use a set of Motorcycle carbs. Scroll down this link to see some pics I happen to have this setup for sale, but the manifold is for 84-87, not 88 up.

Maybe because you didn't read:
"sohc zc dual sidedraft...The manifold will bolt onto 88-91 heads."

sohc zc = 1.6, but yes...they are also Keihin.
They come with a D-series compatible intake manifold. No modification needed. That's what "bolt on" means.
In the jdm Civic 25x they made 105 Ps on the 1.5l.
That's impressive compared to the DPFI 92 Hp. A MPFI converted 1.5l only makes 100-105 Hp. So, all in all, I think they're pretty impressive carbs.

They're not what he was looking for, so the point is probably moot...

I found the carb set up new on the Weber web site for $1,600.00 and that was w/intake

So if some one has the same set up or some thing close I would to see it

By the way that carb set up on the 12v sohc motor makes all most 200hp (read the mag)
