Default Heat shields rubbing up against the apexi n1 at rear of the car..

Alright, i didn't want to pull any stupid **** and start taking heatshields off because i know they're there for a reason, but in my rear section of my apexi n1 it's rubbing up against the heat shield that is right on the gas tank.. I don't want to take it off because i don't want that to start getting really hot and heating up.

It sounds like something is about to fall off of the car though when you hit minor bump because the exhaust piping rubs it and rattles it..

Should i just take the heat shield off and trim it, or what should i do?

thanks,

take a rubber mullet and bang the heatsheld upward a little so it doesn't rub anymore.

And we're both talking about the one that is right on the gas tank or near the gas tank area?

let me know, thanks

You could always wrap the exhaust in heat-wrap and take the heat shield out.
