Default Opinions: LS crank in VTEC block. What main bearings?

Here are some ingredients of the new bottom end that I will have assembled.

P73 81.25 pistons
LS rods
LS crank
VTEC water pump
VTEC oil pump
B18C5 block

What main bearings do I use? Ive heard of LS main bearings and GSR/ITR main bearings? What is the difference and why? What do you suggest? Please advise.

All B series mains are the same so use whatever brand you want.

GS-R factory rod bearings are coated with tetramethyl lead, but the mains are "plain".

Whoops, are there any difference in "coatings" in aftermarket bearings?

Is there anything that can be done to the bearings to "beef" them up?
