Default TSX K24 in 98-02 Accord

Hey guys, I was wondering have any of you with 6th generation accords thought of doing a K24 swap out of the TSX. The 6th gen is already OBD2, so how hard could the swap be, besides maybe the mounts. The reason this came to mind, is that, there are wrecked TSX's all the time and most of the junkyards where I live dont know the true value of these K motors. So is there a Hasport kit for the accords or what info is available on this unique swap. This could really be a trend starter for many 6th gens who dont want to go h22.

Info Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, the first issue is that the motor sits the opposite direction in the engine bay...now this may or may not be a problem (as i have not seen any 6th accord gen k series engine swaps completed yet)...as of yet, hasport has not released an accord mounting kit for the k series motors...

however, this swap would make sense, since the 6th gen accord is the heaviest of all accords so far...the larger 2.4 L high revving 4 might be a good solution to the 6th gen power issue...of course the Euro R motor would be the optimum choice in this scenario...

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by IceManAccord &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Im pretty sure he means, for example, the Cams gears face the other way ?</TD></TR></TABLE>

i don't know about the cam gears, but the intake manifold is in the front and the exaust manifold is in the back. So it basically has been rotated 180 degrees.
