Default wiring problem?

I am having two problems with my car (92' Civic HB CX)since my first problem is the brake lights don't work at all and the second problem is whenever i hit the brakes the left hand turn signal comes on....i have a integra dash conversion and the interior of the car was gutted and painted.....could it be a ground wire or are two wires possible touching? TIA

Has it always done this? Looks like whoever wired up your car didn't do a good job.

For the brake lights, if none of them are coming on, you might have blown a fuse. So yeah check your grounds and fuses.
