OT: I found my sister a car...
Some of you might remember the story I've posted about my sister's car getting totalled out by some illegal alien that didn't speak English, no ins, no driver's license, NO business being here in the US IMO...
Anyway, I had been looking at cars this whole week and I found one advertised at a Lincoln-Mercury dealer here in town. '98 Acura CL 3.0 with 35k miles....ONLY $13,999!!!
Hell, some of the '98 Accord V6 EX's we've been looking at had 50k miles on them and they were going for $16k-up.
WOW! This car is awesome. She fell in love with it immediately.
It has a few door dings, but nothing serious that a friend of mine can't fix (he does PDR).
I'm happy to say she's chosen a Honda/Acura.

ugh...my sister drives an infiniti QX-4. she just got her license a few months ago, but first, my dad made her go through a high perfomance driving school. she was supposed to drive the type R (she doesn't even know how to drive stick!!) but due to some unfortunate circumstances, that didn't happen. (i made sure that the car was up on jackstands so it couldn't be taken..call my selfish but i don't want her abusing my tranny just yet--i have no problem with her driving it when she has more expirience) i have to admit, the QX-4 looked pretty funny out there on track with the vipers and vettes. all in all, she did great--especially considering she had to deal with having her older brother as a driving instructor.
on another note, what do you guys think of making younger drivers go through race-driving schools? my dad wouldn't even think of letting my sister drive on the street before she had obtained her NASA competition license.

But, that would be awesome to have a dad like yours.
My parents would never let me go to that... they'd say it will just teach my how to drive faster and kill myself. grr
But, when i'm off to college that's a different story.
