ES Bushings red or black?

Default ES Bushings red or black?

well im about to purchase a short shifter pretty soon but i dont know what color ES bushings i shoud get either the black or red? i know the black is the self-lubricating and the red is not. which would be best for daily driving? thanks.

What the? I never heard of the colors making a difference. I had both and both weren't lubed, but both came with a tube of lube.

for a daily driver, definitely get the black ones. They are graphite impregnated. Besides, you would not be able to see them anyway.

There is no difference in the colors. I have contacted Energy Suspension directly to verify this. The black ones are simply impregnated with graphite, so in theroy, I would assume they would tend to be "quieter". I have run both black and red with no noticeable difference in noise. Energy Suspension states they are both the same in terms of stiffness, etc..

I am also running the black ones and I greased the crap out of them with the white lube they provided and they have never ONCE made any sort of squeak/noise. I've had them for about 8months now.
