I´ve got a 92 model EG hatch with original B16A2 and I´m gonna fix it up a bit.

Would I have to reprogram the computer after this setup or would it run fine like this? Any idea of what the gains would be like w/stock exhaust?

u dont have to reprogram the ecu, but it would be best. My guess is tuned you may get like 10-15hp..but the exhaust is definetly limiting...on any motor that u "have" to rev hi to make power... when i switched a similar setup i have from a stock civic type r exhaust to a full 2 1/4 w/ no cat and just a big straight thru resonator it was like night and day... good luck

 

Ok thanks. The problem is that there isn´t anybody in my country that can reprogram the computer

Exhaust and header will come later when the money allowes it

 

well if there is nobody in your country to reprogram it then just buy one online somewhere that already is done or one of the sponsers on here does it if u send your computer to him...

 

Doesn´t it have to be programmed for each individual car? Since almost every mod gives different results?
