Default stock exhaust with no resonator

well so far every shop i have went to has quoted me 325+ for stock catback exhaust on my daily 92 4dr 1.5 civic. They are saying that the resonator si gonig to to cost 150!...i was wondering if it would be really loud with no resonator.....its my daily so i want it pretty quiet....could i jsut bring them liek a 20 dollar cherry bomb or something in place of the ****** expensive resonator
thanks

Yes it is going to be loud without a resonator. Get a KTeller8 custom exhaust for less than that. A CTR/ITR can be had for less and have better flow as well.

it will just add more respy sound to your car. Sounds like **** not loud but like ****. Just buy some used exhaust somewhere or aftermarket and put it in.

The cherry bomb will definately help quiet things down, but it's a total piece of ****.
It won't last as long as you want it to, but for $20, whatcha expect?

The stock exhaust without a resonator will not be that loud. I had that same setup on my old Accord, and while the tone was raspier, the volume didn't increase that much if at all. The only thing I did notice----besides being raspier----is that there was a noticeable drone on the freeway.

it wont be that loud. i had a stock exhaust w/out a resonator in my 95 ex and it had a little buzzing sound that was noticeable but wasn't that loud. after i put in a straight pipe and gsr muffler w/out a resonator still, the ************ is loud as hell
