sup fellas, well i've read alot of threads on how you should brake in the motor or how to seat the rings on H/T. many people say to just beat it up on the dyno when you get it tuned and i have done that in the past,i just used standard castrol. the one thing that i am kinda confused about is which oil to use when i first start the motor or when i get it tuned. i know people say to use non detergent oil during break in but is that in street motor break ins, or any application? if im going to have the car tuned the same week that i get the motor started and just break it in on the dyno, should i still use the non detergent oil during tuning and then swith to synthetic oil after, or just start off using synthetic??
