Default H23 crank in H22 block?

I want to stroke my H22, but do not want to spend 4000 on a kit from Crower. Can I use a H23 crank in the H22 block? I will sleeve the block and do an offset ground on the crank.

what stroke do you want? the h23 or f22 cranks are already 95mm.

Sleeved block with a 89mm bore
H23 crank offset ground to 1.771 (98mm)
custom rods and pistons
this should put me at 2.4L

personally, i considered going with an offset grind on my build but couldn't justify the extra $/effort/replacement for only .1 liter of additional displacement over the f22 crank. bob at ari in fl has done alot of those though.

It should be .2 because I am using the H22 block and inserting a reworked H23 crank.

I thought of that, but it doesnt look like I can get 98mm.

H22 crank:
84.7 (1.654 journal diameter - destroke) 1.772 BE bore (rod)
87.7 (1.771 journal diameter - destroke) 1.890 BE bore (rod)
90.7 (1.888 journal diameter - stock stroke) 2.008 BE bore (rod)
93.7 (1.771 journal diameter - stroke) 1.890 BE bore (rod)
96.7 (1.654 journal diameter - stroke) 1.772 BE bore (rod)

H23/F22 crank:
89 (1.654 journal diameter - destroke) 1.772 BE bore (rod)
92 (1.771 journal diameter - destroke) 1.890 BE bore (rod)
95 (1.888 journal diameter - stock stroke) 2.008 BE bore (rod)
98 (1.771 journal diameter - stroke) 1.890 BE bore (rod)101 (1.654 journal diameter - stroke) 1.772 BE bore (rod)

It looks like I have to use a H23 crank. Correct me if I am wrong...please.
