i am swaping a z6 into my 96dx and need some help with the distributor the colors dont matchup i have pics of the on the dx plug the colors are red, white, black, tan, green, blue, white/green and on the dizzy the colors are blu/grn, blue, orange/blu, orange, white, yellow/green,and white/blu they dont match i just need some help matchingthe dizzy colors to the correct holes in my dx plug

 

i have pixs but i dont know how to put them on here

The chart is a hair off from my 95 Civic Helms ETM:

TDC + : Orn/Blu
TDC - : Wht/Blu

CKP + : Lt Blu
CKP - : Lt Blu/Yel

CYP + : Orn
CYP - : Wht

ICM: Yel/Grn

Tach: Blu

From the 96-00 Civic Helms ETM (96-98, 99-00):

TDC + : Orn/Blu Orn/Blu
TDC - : Wht/Blu Wht/Blu

CKP + : Lt Blu Lt Blu or Blu/Grn
CKP - : Lt Blu/Yel Lt/Blu/Yel or Wht

CYP + : Orn Orn
CYP - : Wht Wht or Blk

ICM: Yel/Grn Yel/Grn

Tach: Blu Not present. The igniter has the electrical tab for the tach output, however you must wire it up yourself.

 

I agree with everything that you guys posted except for the crankshaft position sensor. That one is wrong. It should be

CKP + : Blue/Green
CKP - : Blue/Yellow
