Default converting to obd-1 which harness do i use?

i have a '90 crx(wired up as an si) and im going to install a d16z6(obd-1)....well i have the complete engine harness that came with the z6, and i have a si harness.(my friend already made the ecu conversion harness) but for the engine which harness do i need to use???? (i think i need to use the z6 harness, it has the matching clips already...but my friend says to use the si harness and make that work)

The OBD1 engine harness will not plug into the interior harness so you need to use the stock Si harness and mod it to work on the d16z6 engine.

Si harness. If you are going to use the obd-1 injectors, just take the injector clips from the obd-1 harness and put them on the obd-0 si harness. You will notice alot of the obd-1 and obd-0 engine clips are identical and in the exact same spots.

Don't forget to delete the injector resistor box if you intend to use the OBD-1 injectors.

you dont need to switch the injectors... just leave them obd0 unless you want to... then you'd remove the resistor box and switch the injectors and clips

Correct. OBD-0 injectors = low impedance and require a resistor box to raise the impedance of the circuit so as not to overload the injector drivers in the ECU.

OBD-1 injectors = high impedance injectors. The resistor box is not needed, as the impedance of the circuit is already high enough. Running a resistor box would raise the impedance of the injector circuit higher that it needs to be.
