I just installed them on my 99 Accord 4cyl yesterday. There was a definate improvement, but it's difficult to describe. Car didn't feel more powerful (since it literally isnt), but it seemed much less sluggish off the line and the acceleration was more fluid after changing gears. According to a G-Tech Pro meter, it smoothed out my torque curve, which is exactly how it felt. The pulleys did exactly what I thought they would do, and I am very happy with the purchase. If you can get ahold of one, an impact wrench makes this a quick install, not having to remove the alt, or ps pump. Just loosen the belt tension, and pop the pulleys off. Hope this helps!

I tried the day before using my own tools. Even though I had the correct size wrenches and sockets, I couldn't manage to do it. I was nearly impossible to get enough torque to break the nuts free while holding the pulley's still. 1.5 hours with traditional tools = didn't budge. 10 min with impact wrench = popped right off.

I had some but I sold them on ebay for 130.00 because it was too much effort. You should have asked earlier when I was selling them!

Damn, I hope I can do it with the regular tools.

Where can I pick-up an impact wrench?

Well, I don't know where'd you be able to "pick one up" without picking up a compressor and air hose too. I did mine at an auto hobby shop on base. I'm sure with some liquid wrench, you could manage it. Otherwise, you might see if any car service center would be kind enough to pop them loose, then maybe roll it out of their bay for you to finish. Just remember to check this... my 6th gen PS pump nut came off normal, but i hear some other gen accords might be reverse threaded. Good luck!

yes, the fifth gen power steering pumps have a reverse threaded shaft/nut. the alternator, however, is standard threads...

I think you could skip the dyno if you're just adding pulleys. Nothing to tune really.

I got a UD pulley for my accord. No power gains but it does rev a bit easier.

it would be hard tightening the bolts back to spec anyway, i just use an old timing belt have one guy hold the timing belt while someone else torques the nut...strap wrench? save your 20dollars use the old timing belt

good idea! but these two belts are serpentine, and don't have notches perpendicular with the belt, so they don't exactly "hold" to the pulley.
