Hey guys n gerls, just bought a 1991 honda civic Si.

When i bought this car and went to pick it up, the motor was in the hatch. I was wondering how he got it in there, so i asked him. He told me that He, and a friend of his lifted it in. He told me there was no damage or anything like that, so i took his word for it.

I unloaded the motor today, and wouldnt you know it...my distributor has a terminal ripped clean off, and a big chunk missing. This is pretty retarded, because my brother had this car before this guy did, and he paid $400ish canadian for a new dizzy from Honda.

The dizzy is just cracked on the plastic piece, no other visible damage. Will i have to get a whole new dizzy, or can i just get the black plastic piece?

do you mean the distributor cap that normally gets replaced in a tune-up and costs 15 bucks?

 

Yeah i suppose that would be it. Just not sure if the cap is the only part damaged. Im going to take it apart and see tommorow. I guess im just kind of pissed off...not really thinking right...lol thanks

 

I can get a free dizzy from a 92-95 Civic. Can i use this cap without any problems? Just wondering because its free and all...lol
