Default blew out fuses???

Hi there, just bought a 93 del sol and i was installing my air fuel ratio gauge and driving along and all of the sudden all of my interior counsole lights went out and my low beams, tail light and stop lights. i had the back light of the gauge plugged into the ''L low beam headlight'' fuse. i checked the fuse and it's still in tact but i have no idea what blew out, how it blew out and how i can fix this problem and rewire it correctly so this does not happen again. can someone PLEASE help me??????????

Installing while driving ?
My guess is you have a circuit overload and may have to add a relay to absorb some amperage.
