i agree, suspension should be ur next step..but if u wunt more power...best bang for the buck is nitrous i guess...but if i were u, i wud raise my budget a little more and go for a turbo set up ...

Nitrous with window switch, purge and bottle warmer can easily be had for what you have in your budget. Just be aware that $40 bottle refills can add up if you spray all the time.

Coilovers, strut bar, sway bar. Best investments i've made in the car have been in suspension.

If your over 200k I would consider an engine swap or rebuild before adding horsepower.

In terms of a swap or rebuild it depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.

its hard to tell you what to do with your setup, because you say that you want to get max power, but you're only spending a grand. you can't really be picky with what you get for that much, because adding a rebuilt motor (which i recommend you do) will take some money as well.

here's what i recommend:
re-build your motor with some high comp pistons
f22a6 head (the best flowing head since it has the best port geometry)
have your camshaft reground
h23 IM and TB

theres not much else you can do for a grand, read this forum about head work and NA power
http://www.accordinglydone.com...=9711

Nitrous would also be a nice thing to add, but once again depends on your budget

2 grand will either get you an old motor and tranny or a good block if you're talking H22.

you COULD pick up an F series for under a grand and build it up with the extra money, so you can just swap the built one in when you're ready...

since ur motor is 200K+ already, i wud say no big power adders, we dont know wut shape ur engine is in, unless u do *shrugs*...but i say if u cnat afford a swap or rebuild right now...i saw definitely go for suspension, if u cant make it fast myte as well make it fun to drive and handle good
