Default winter and civic ?

do these cars drive well in snow and slush and all this crap ?

cause im considering getting a 4 door civic (the boxy ones around 1990) as a winter car since i dont really want my cavalier in the snow anymore and i am redoing it all this winter (body/engine)

BTW i think that civic is an automatic!

My money would be that they are better than a CRX in the winter...but I would recommend driving that cavalier into a snowplow this winter.

I have a 90 civic hb and it goes ok in the snow, but i would recommend getting some snow tires for it.

Civic hatches aren't bad in the snow. They go pretty well better than some RWD cars due to the placement of the weight over the drive wheels

I have never had a problem with my 4dr in the winter. I just raise the coilovers up, have it aligned, and it is good to go.

From personal experience....

EF Civic hatch with a LSD EF SiR tranny and Michelin X-Ice's = Snow monster.

i already have my snow tires from last year, brand new semperito(yeah they grip the snow really well)
so a 4 door would be decent in snow keep in mind it will be stock. and I cant drive my cavy cause its too low lol plus i am turboing the ar this winter and it will be engine less for 2 or 3 months and i am doing the whole body work this winter to remove a little rust and respray the car with a little bit of purple pearl in it!

here is a pix of the car:

and this is what i want (plus i will maybe mod the civic a lil bit and give it to my girlfriend next summer!
