Default GSR build - which crank and which pistons?

Currently I'm running a stock B18C1 in my jdm sir hatch, but it just ain't making enough power to please me anymore.

I've acquired another B18C1, and I plan to build it up to a little bit higher spec. I'm not looking for a full-on forged bottom end, just something thats going to push some higher numbers...

My current bottom end options are:
1. GSR block with LS crank, rods, and some ITR pistons (apparently PCT's are a no-no with this setup?)
2. Stock GSR block with some PCT's.

A couple of questions really.
- Which bottom end has more potential?
- Is the b20b crank the same as the b18b one?
- Is the LS crank option going to be worth the hassle?

First of all, how much horsepower do you want? Cause I can tell you some good ways to build that gsr for any setup. I have the same motor in my si hatch.

I can't really give you an exact figure (hp figures vary from dyno to dyno anyway...). Obviously more is better... Ideally I'd like at least 20-30hp above the gsr, but I'll take as much as I can get without blowing megabucks in the process.

I'm based in new zealand, making access to jdm parts easy, but usdm parts (je, crower, etc) hard.

the ls crank needs to be worked over balanced etc.
sleeve the block bore it to 84mm
work the head with good cams

killer in the making

I was under the impression the crank would be a bolt-in job (maybe a micropolish or something but nothing too excessive)? Only the rods needs to be modified slightly?

And i'm not 100% sure about bearings? acl, b18b, b18c?
