I thought I’d put my car out there to see what I can get for it. I am interested in sale or trade. Please email me at Viper8L488@aol.com if you are interested.
If you are interested in an outright purchase, I am asking $8500 obo.
Cars I would consider for a trade agreement:
- 1998+ Honda Accord coupe v6 low miles
- 2001+ Nissan Altima
- 1999-2000 Civic Si low miles (no red)
- Any ITR
- 2000+ Dodge Dakota 4.7L v8
- Just ask, I might want what you have if it has low miles and no mods.
I am the original owner of this 1998 coupe. It has 122k on the odometer. The car was stock until 100k. At that time, well, I decided to have some fun. You can read below for the mods list I have attached. As it sits, this car is an absolute blast to drive. It does everything (acceleration, braking, handling, easy to drive) very, very well. Every mod was carefully chosen, professionally installed, and has displayed factory reliability thus far. The swap was done with full factory power steering and a/c features. Special thanks go to Kasey and John at Modacar in Livermore, CA for helping to make the car as fun as it is.
The stereo in this car is second to none. It can please the ear of every audiophile buff as well as the bass heads. See the mods list and pics for details. You will have to search long and hard to find another car that sounds like this. The bass can make the windshield wipers bounce off the glass (but is turned down for daily listening), and the interior speakers are crisp enough to make your eyes water at high volume. Special thanks go to Kenny (RIP) from the Ultimate Car Toys/Custom Auto for the stereo installation and quality.
As you can see from the pics, my car is in very nice condition. The paint is glossy, the wheels have never been rubbed, and the maintenances were done ahead of schedule. I change the oil in the ITR engine every 2500 miles with Mobile1 5w30 syn. I change the plugs and tranny fluid every 10k. Every 30k service was done by Honda. The timing belt and water pump were replaced when the motor was swapped. Mechanically and electrically this car is perfect. Cosmetically, there are the typical blemishes you would expect to find. The paint is beautiful, but there are rock chips on the front bumper and about 6 dings on the sides of the car which are all dime size or smaller. There is only one ding that is bigger than a dime (only by a little). All of these can easily be removed by DentPro or a similar company. The carbon fiber hood has a haze on it that needs to be buffed out (this is very typical of Fiber Images hoods). Other than that, the car is in great shape. There are no disappointments here.
Please request any pics that have not been included already. I will get them up ASAP.
I am happy to ship this car if the buyer would like. I also like road trips, so I would entertain the idea of meeting on mutual ground. Email me to discuss sale options, terms, or to request the VIN.
