Default car reving to 4000

i have a jdm b16 converted obd1 in my 91 crx hf, and i just switched my throttlbody to the obd1 one with the map sensor mounted on it instead of on the firewall like the obd0 one, when i start my car it imediately revs up to 4500 and goes down to 3500 and stays there, can you guys help me out I have to fix it by tomorrow because i have a smog ref appintment on wednesday.

i did the same thing too. i used an STR 65mm TB and it was obd1. it would shoot to like 4500rpms and drop to 4000rpms. It would do that but i messed with the throttle cable, and the adjusting screw on my TB. i would drive it around. come back , park it, disconnect the battery. wait 2 minutes or so. connect it. turn it back on and drive it around. did this like 3 times i think. it kept idling lower every time . it finally got down to 1000rpms, then about a day or 2 later it settled at 500-600rpms. try it and let me know. i think the ecu just has to get used to maybe? who knows. hope it helps

i messed with the throttle cable it didnt work, what screw are you talkign about? the idle screw? if you are i messed with that to it didnt do anything, i though myabe it was the tps but i moved tat around and it didnt fix it

we figured it out, the thing in the iacv came unscrewed
