HELP!!! B18B1 INTO 1996 EX COUPE!!!!!
Hey I have a complete OBD1 95 Ls Motor/Tranny with axles, intermediate shaft, everything basically... I also have the wire harness from the ls motor as well but my question is basically is it possible to use that ls harness on my car or how could i re-wire my stock ex harness to run the obd1 ls swap...
Thanks
Thanks
When I did my swap, the guy the did the wiring use my DX harness. but mine was a OBD II to a OBD II. In your cause I think you would use your EX hardness and then get the adapter from OBDII - OBD I fromt he Harness to the ECU
Also I am doing the auto to 5 speed conversion at the same time as the motor swap. I have all the hydraulic lines, si pedals, si guage cluster, 5 speed ls ecu ( for the ls motor), shift linkage (ls one), etc... I was wondering what is the easiest way to do the 5 speed conversion? I have the how to already but I wanted to know if anyone had any tips or pointers??
ok i bought the harness from evasive motorsports for 60 bucks... so now what else would i need to change from the obd1 engine/tranny to be able to use my ex wire harness and swap it into my obd2 car?

Ok i need to know exactly which other brackets and or rubber mounts i need?
I just bought a 2000 si rear tranny bracket, i have an integra front tranny bracket, and i have a 2000 si driver side bracket....
I read i can use all my stock rubber studs/mounts with these brackets...? Is this correct? Would the automatic rubber stud/mount work on the 5 speed integra front tranny bracket ?
Thanks

i currently have a b18b in my DX hatch....and the auto and manual tranny brackets are differnt...atleast they have differnt part numbers....make sure you have both lower brackets on there..i snapped my upper driver side second run down the street...cause i didn't have the AC mount on.....The wiring is very easy considering you have an EX harness....use the OBD2a-obd1 harness cause 96-98 is obd2a...and 99-00 is B...Rewire the Dizzy and fly with it...pretty strait forward swap...even tho i still have a CEL..i think its b/c i'm using the PR4 which is an anchient LS ecu...get the P75....

I have the B18B driver side motor mount if you want, it torn a little but is still usable, oh FYI my motor is OBD2 so I still have some parts that came with the motor, let me know.
