Default Q on the greddy egt probe...

ok i got my egt gauge today from importparts.com (A+ service btw) and i was looking at the probe where it penetrates the lock nut but theres nothing that really keeps it in place, it just slides in and out, is this how it supposed to be?

couldnt the exhaust gas pressure blow the probe out or is this normal?

shoot forgot to ask, i also bought a new greddy profec b and i had bought a greddy steering wheel remote used, does it get connected to the external plug in the back of the profec b?

the steering wheel remote came w/ circular thingamabob w/ the cord,is this what the remote sends it signal to? do i just velcro this on the dash or what? and what is the 1-2-3 button for? its on the steering wheel remote and the circular thingamabob...

The EGT is lock type, basically you can stick the probe in the boss and tighting the nut ( i'm trying to picture it in my head, it's been a while I did this). The nut should feel tight and also feel like it been striped or something, it's normal, as long as the probe don't move.

The remote switch is plugged in the back of the profec B. There is only one hole for it. Then you mount the switch on the steering wheel by velcor. You might want to do it on the right side of the steering wheel since Left side will make the Greddy word upside down.

Yep, to control multiple boost controller or other item. Kinda useless.
