I have a Viper 5000, same thing but Viper. I have installed the 10.5 though. Good alarm with good options if you want to add stuff. I would definately add a 515R backup battery siren. Not to easy to get by without some time invested. I also like how they finally added a dedicated horn option.

The proximity sensors aren't that accurate. They even told us last year at training that they suck. Pretty much what I think too. If you really want one, just make sure that you know they are sometimes unpredictable.

I would get the 515R backup battery siren. The wiring is the same for any just with constant power and ground also. So 3 wires altogether, power ground and + trigger. Leave the green wire on the siren free.
