On a recent drive from the Los Altos area to SF(a journey of about 30 miles through mountain ranges), I used up a quarter tank. Is this right? My speed was varying between 80 and 90 throughout the trip.

I changed my oil about 1000 miles ago, and everything seems alright. I did add an AEM, but that should only improve my gas mileage.

Any ideas?

True. Maybe you've been gassing it more since you have the intake?

 

...don't fret, I average 22.5mpg mixed driving and there are no mountains here... it is your heavy foot...

 

No i havent been driving differently since the intake. I had an intake before, i just recently switched to aem.

Did you reset the ECU after you installed the intake?

 

I used to get 23-24 mpg untill I started dickin' with the timing. now I get about 16.
