I opened up my p72 combustion chambers to 84mm and also deshrouded. I cc'd the chambers to 44cc's each. Stock is around 41.60cc each according to the C-Speed compression calculator. I want to get the head milled to return the volume close to or right back at 41.60 or so. How do i figure out the amount of milling to achieve this? Thanks techies.
First time ive tried to calculate something like this but lets give it a shot. You have:
84mm diameter cylinders. You want a height to remove 2.4cc. 84mm is 8.4cm diameter
pi * r^2 * height
3.14159 * 4.2 ^ 2 * ? = 2.4
55.42 * ? = 2.4
? = 2.4 / 55.42
? = 0.043cm = 0.43mm = 0.017"
Though I could be wrong.
