Default Looking for a brake guru on the topic of EGs

I'm planning to stay with a 4 lug on a Civic hatchback.

What is the best combination or front and rear discs available for the application? Stock & aftermarket. I'm looking for good braking qualities, not slapping on the hugest rotors possible.

Also, what would be the optimal proportioning valve, master cylinder, etc for the setup?

Wilwood sells different master cylinders, would these be better for a custom setup? And has anyone had any experience with their pedal assemblies, or would the stock setup still be good?

Engine setup: K20 swapped into the hatch with all motor setup, so figure on the extra weight and power. I won't be putting down HUGE numbers to prevent wheelspin.

This car would see mostly street driving, with an occasional weekend AutoX and even more occasional drag.

If anyone has any suggestions or knows a good shop that I can discuss with this, please chime in

if you really aren are just DD and drag racing, you will be fine with the stock setup.

Just envest in some good brake pads.

well if you want to stay 4 lug the most cost effective thing to do is use the whole 94-01 integra (exept type r) set up...You should try to get 99-00 si master cylinder and prop valve to keep the pedal feel stock and not mushy...Considering the age of the car new brake lines should be considered then just get a quality set of rotors and pads(depends on prefernce) and you should be set

that will force you to buy a new master cylinder, a new brake boost, and re-flar all of the lines going into the MC. There are much better alternatives to use as for a master cylinder. Like a 1991 Honda civic 4 door ex, its a 15/16mc and will keep the same brake booster.

But you really don't even need to do this, just get some good pads, (as i said befor), fuild, and you will be good.

dude the easiest way to improve/upgrade your brakes is to go with a 94-up integra fronts and rears. get some quality brake pads, ss lines and fluids. Along with this you will most likely need a 94-up int. RS MC/BB and 40/40 prop valve. if you go with the rs you wont need to reflare any lines, its a complete bolt on. after all this you will definitely be good to go with any auto-x and drag. its really not that expensive either.
