Default Asking Help With Question

I already searched, but then I didn't really get anything. I want to explain to you guys my problem and see what you guys think.

I have a d16z6 swapped over into a EG dx hatch. When we cranked the motor it started right up. We then checked timing and it was way off. So we advanced the dizzy all the way and still the timing is off by quite a bit. So we double checked TDC. Dizzy, the head, and the pully are all on TDC. I bought the dizzy used on ebay because I couldn't find one anywhere else. I couldn't use the one that came with my motor because all wires that plugged into the harness was cut off.

We ran out of time and so since the motor ran in all we just left it at that because we all had to go work etc the next day. Now my question is. Could this be a bad dizzy? Could having a bad dizzy mess with the timing and retard it? I do have bad cold starts. It would crank up, but then suddenly bog down to 200rpm and if I gas it, it'll go back to normal cold starts. And when I try to drive it cold the car would bog a bit. But once everything is all warmed up it drives normal. And after that first start all the other starts, start up normal. I do have kind of a bad normal idle. It idles around 450 to 600rpm. And that's with the idle screw all the way open. But when I drive at night and turn my head lights on. The idle would go up to around 800 to 900rpm which is factory spec. Just can't figure out why the timing is off and why my car bogs a bit. Hope you guys could give some advice. I'm thinking it might be dizzy ralated, but aren't sure.

Things I already done:
Checked TDC
Advanced Dizzy
Adjusted the idle screw for idle
New spark plugs
New spark plug wires
All Vacumm lines has already been checked everything is good to go

Are you positive the timing belt doesn't jump a tooth or 2?

I'm positive. We changed the timing belt when the motor was still sitting on the ground. We double checked everything twice before we swapped the motor and after we swapped the motor.

So are you saying that if the rotor is just flopping around. That's could cause timing issues? Or the bogging issue? Or both?

I'm still stuck on this problem. Could this be a dizzy related problem? Can a bad dizzy retart timing to where you advance the dizzy and its nowhere near 16*? What are some things that would cause timing to retard this much? All I can think about is a bad dizzy and TDC not all lined up. But TDC is already all lined up check more then twice. Is there a difference between the JDM ZC VTEC crank pulley?
