Default loose bolt INSIDE engine - expert advice needed

a few months ago i misshifted at the dragstrip.... motor was running like ****. i opened up the head, i find four of my valves are missing the bolt on top of them... i found three... meaning i still had one missing...

i take off the head and the cylinders were fine, and i look EVERYWHERE for the bolt.... no where to be found... so i put everything back together and it runs fine....

a month later i run at an autoX, smoke EVERYWHERE!!! then i do an oil change and find the bolt stuck to my spoon magnetic drain plug... after driving the car around, daily driven, lots of smoke during VTEC, thats it..... then i check my oil after 3 weeks of changing my oil, NO OIL.... this is my problem

im about to take off my head yet again, MY QUESTION IS, HOW CAN I CHECK TO SEE IF THE BOLT FUCKED UP ANY OF THE OIL PASSAGES, ETC... i also want to know what else to check for... piston rings a possiblity?

did a compression test, 240 across the board.

motor is a JDM B18C-R....

rather than doing a compression test you should have done a leak down test. If the bolt fell straight down the return drain and was caught by the spoon drain the its ok but if the bolt looks chipped or chewed up the somewhere in you bottom got hold of the bolt first. What about the the nuts. If i believe your talking about the valve adjustment bolt with nut.

yea it was the valve adjustment nut....

would a leakdown test reveal something wrong with my oil passages though?

i had this happen to me in my old car, while i was adjusting the valves (backed the nut off too far). i took off my oil pan right away and luckily it was sitting on the windage tray.

maybe it scratched ur cyl wall and oil is coming through?

I do feel bad for your issues. However, knowing that a bolt/nut is flying around somewhere = . Seriously, bolts/nuts dont just disappear.

No leak test will not test oil passages.. But piston ring, slight bent valve. etc.. can be tested better than compression test.

Is there any mark(s) on the nut/bolt. Like it got chewed or crunched in any way??

the compression test my show good reading, but possibly you might have still slightly bent your valve to where the valve seal are leaking?

You should NOT have just "put it back together" knowing that a nut was somewhere in your engine. If you want to know for sure, tear it down and inspect everything. If you burned through 4 quarts of oil, you have a very nasty leak or a really big problem.
