he meant intake, header, and exhaust
he meant intake, header, and exhaust
Basic mods as someone else already said Header, Intake, Exhaust. Then you can do intake manifold if you want to take it father. Cams are not so much basic. You are talking money when you replace those. But they do give you more HHHHHHPPPPP!!!
Trending Topics
get an intake, header, exhaust. I'd recommend you do research (used the search button) and find whats the best parts for your car such as what header to get, what exhaust to get, what intake to get. Team-integra.net has a bunch of purchsing guides to help you with this kind of stuff...Good luck with the serach and keep us posted on the parts you choose to buy
what i've done to mine so far is exhaust and i got an intake in the mail and springs and then as soon as intake gets here i'll be heading to the NOPI store and get me a K&N filter. then i plan on getting a header on ebay cause i figure why spend $300.00 on a 4-2-1 header when i could get one from ebay for about 1/3 of that.
Go to your nearest performance shop and get your engine evaluated then talk with a guy that works there as to where you want gains in your powerband and he should know where to start as to knowing the inlets/outlets and all the other important things to building an engine. DO NOT RANDOMNLY BUY PIECES!!!! I can't stress this enough, if you do that, you will bottle up hp and flow unless by some miracle you get it all the right size. Talk to a professional is where I'm going with this. Or Michael Delaney on Team-integra.net.

haha, thank you team-integra.
we need automatic responses for posts like this, so that we can just click a button instead of having to type it out for the millionth time.
murk, you have a lot of learning to do. go to team-integra.net, and read the articles, common topics, and search the posts. it is soooo much more complicated than simply purchasing an intake, or header, etc.
since your just starting out, you are going to need to first free up the airflow through your motor with things like an intake, exhaust, and header. make sure you read up on what type to buy. read up a lot.
oh yeah, did i mention you should read up on it? trust me, learn as much as you can, you'll be glad later on.

It all depends on what route you are wanting to take but either way h/i/e is a given. After that I would recommend some kind of ecu, most likely hondata. I have had experience with non vtec integra's and there's not much you can do with simple bolt on's. You obviously need internals, and yes cam's would give you a noticable power gain but would also leave a empty space in your wallet. Good luck..........

No question's a stupid question. We're all on here for a reason and this is his, so calm down and don't read threads you know you wont like.
Since you're new, check out the FAQ section and learn about the forum! Removing your your airbox will not gain power. Like the other guys said, start with intake, header and exhaust and go from there. Start reading and researching about your car and decide where you want to go from there. Good luck
