I would put it into 2nd or 3rd...floor it...the car moves...hits full boost...full power comes in...and then slip off the gear simuliar to a mishift. Any ideas?

Slipping clutch?
A stock civic clutch can't hold lots of amount of boost for a long period of time..
If you plan on the 200whp area i'd go with ACT HDSS..
Goodluck!

a slipping clutch would do that? i thought a slipping clutch would just have trouble grabbing the gears. my clutch has more life and pressure than the average stock clutch. im slipping OUT of the gears not into. :[

Makes sense to me, that with that much power the clutch just can't handle all of it and it starts to slip.

If your car slips/pops out of gear it could be:
1: Worn or improperly adjusted linkage
2: Transaxle loose on engine
3: input gear bearing retainer broken or loose
4: worn shifter fork

Fluid level was good, just changed it this morning. For some reason it smelled burned. Now it doesnt slip AS much but still it slips and slows the car down.
Ok were talking about 2 completely different things here. And its not clear which is your problem.
Slipping Clutch/Bad clutch: Your clutch doesnt grab, which would result in longer timing to engage and also not go anywhere. To test, start driving to 5mph and go into 4th gear, if your car still goes the clutch is slipping, if you stall then your clutch is good.
Bad tranny: Grinds, pops out of gear. If your driving down the street and all of the sudden you pop out of gear, also when you shift or in gear youll hear grinding. Those are normal causes. Things that could help if grinding is transmission flush. But if popping out of gear requires new Synchros or new tranny (usually alot cheaper then a rebuild)
Now which one is more or less your problem?
