Default 1990 EX 2dr 5spd, turbo, camshaft, headers, what should i do?

I have a 1990 accord EX 5spd 2dr coop. And i'd like to do some work to it, but i only want to do some stuff that can get some true hp, not spark plug wires and body kits and junk. Ive been debating doing an eclips turbo kit or putting full system headers and exhaust on and maybe a camshaft. So

1. I'd like to know whats best to do

and

2. Where are the best deals and places to get these parts?

Any info would be apreciated.

Well you need to decide where you want to go with your car and what kind of power you're wanting to make. A junkyard turbo setup can yield you decent power while not killing your wallet (too much) whereas just adding a cam or header or bored throttle body will give you a little power and make the car more fun to drive.

If you don't want to spend too much and want the car to be a little more fun to drive my biggest suggestion is suspension believe it or not. Suspension not only gives the car a nice asthetic upgrade but also makes the car handle so much better.

If you want you can get a cam regrind (since no one I know of except gude makes a cam for the f22) from http://www.deltacams.com which run around 80 bucks. You can do a bored out throttle body from http://www.maxbore.com and gain throttle response and some power for 100 dollars. Exhaust and a header will run you right around 500-600 bucks but will give you a more even powerband and give you some more torque to play with.

For information on a junkyard setup check out http://www.cb7tuner.com and http://www.homemadeturbo.com as well. I pieced together a turbo setup for right aroudn 700-800 bucks, granted this is without tuning or any other misc parts that I forgot...that was the main parts of a turbo setup (turbo, exhaust manifold, BOV, intercooler, injectors, oil lines and a safc).

how much money do you have to work with here?
or how much do you want to spend, thats also something you need to look at, because unless you have lots of experience with turbos the words turbo and cheap don't usually mix really well.

I'd like to spend as little as i have to but doo a good job. Fabrication is no problem for me if i need to modify or make parts, its just figuring out what isn't a pain in the butt to do and what to do.

How mutch of a difference would re grinding a cam make on my f22. And should i just pull one out of a junk yard and have it ground so i have my stock one if need be?

Also for computer tuning, or a new computer, what is available and what is good. If i turboed how mutch is it to flash my computer, or what can i get for self tunable computer systems. I don'lt care about the name brand, i just want the job done.

bro, in terms of bang for buck and potential reliability, motor swap would be the route to go. ie: h22, f20b (manual, because the automatic only makes 180 due to cams and pistons), h23, or f22b.

also work on your susp., ie: omni coilovers (around 700), d2 coilovers (600), or just a mated strut/spring combo (neuspeed race with neuspeed koni yellow, aka cup kit)

i really think these are the simplest ways, to look better, make 200hp (flywheel), and turn better. and can be had for around 3k.

My suspention is rock solid, the best in any car ive ever driven, i can turn as tight as i want and the tires will squeel before the boddy rolls. As for engine swap, i know it can be a way to get hp, but its really one of the most expensive and pain in the but ways. If i'm gona mess with swapping a motor, i might as well buy a full turbo set up, it would save a lot of time and hassle.

Ive got a guy who has a bunch of eclipse/talon stock turbo set up parts, have any of you done or know anyone who has done a accord/eclipse turbo. What do i need to do and what do i do about computer flashing or tuning?

Also, i know hondas have high compression so you have to run low boost so you don't blow your motor. What is a save level of boost for every day driving and what is a safe level for racing. I don't want to blow my motor.
