Default Will an Si ignition coil work on an ITR/GSR distributor?

I was wondering if a '99-00 Si ignition coil would also work on a '98-up GSR/ITR distributor? I thought they were interchangeable.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance!
Gary

I want to say that all of the internal coils will interchange since I've used a B20's in a GS-R/ITR and a GS-R coil in a H22's distributor.
