what rpm does vtech kick in at

i have a 97 gsr..what rpm is vtec active at...and if i get a vtech controller...how low can i drop it

Vtec not VtecH kicks in at 4500 rpm and the secondaries kick in at 5800(the full effect) No need for vtec controller unless you highly tuned and modded

fixed it for you...and thanks...i need to start saving money for my engine mods....so expensive...and im 18 going to college

18 going to college?!?! Please allow a dude that's been there to give you some advice: you need your car to get around. Don't get too crazy modding your Teg unless you have a spare car around, which I'm guessing you don't. Keep it basic, keep it simple and keep it running! Good luck.
