Default exhaust manifold ?

i am just wondering if a stock b16 exhaust manifold with bolt up, without modifications... to a type r motor.. i have heard that it wont work because a type r motor is a bit taller then the b16 therefor it wont work.. please someone who has done/tried this post if its possible.. thanks

i think the type r is ~7mm taller than the b16.

so the header will be ~7mm closer to the oil pan. not sure if it will clear or not.

/useless response.

why would you go from a itr header to a b16? if you are gonna replace the exhaust manifold i say go w/ something like the DC Sport JDM 4-1 header. very nice and streetable.
